I like pushkarni bhel near vishrambag wada. In Aundh sometimes I do eat bhel at Deepak sweets. Though its not so good.

I think you must try Kalyan Bhel House, this is one of the most famous bhel wala in Pune.
There are 3 branches in Pune:
1. Shankar seth road, Opp Kalyan society its also called 7 loves chowk
2. Kondhwa Bibwewadi Road - Near Hotel Khusboo
3. Lullanagar - Kondhwa junction
Good variety of bhels - special bhel and matki bhel is awesome...worth trying :)

The best bhel that you can get is at Bund Garden,at Anna's bhel puri house.Its really superb.Try it .

I don't believe that one cannot get good bhel in proper restaurants. Other than some of the small bhel stalls around Pune, I think that the Shivsagar restaurants serve good bhel and other chaat items. At least one can also sit in a clean environemnt and eat the stuff.

Surprisingly, I also got good bhel at the Badshah restaurant  on east street!! try the above and see if you like the bhel that they have...
